Just finishing up my dedicated HT room and got a great offer on an amp and thought I'd see peoples opinion on if I should buy it or not.

The amp is 7x200 and asking $1500.00. It is only 2 years old and gets used no more than 2-3 times a week in a dedicated room. In very good condition and can not see, or ever imagine, he would ever abuse it (major audiophile). Couldnt talk to much this am about it since I had to head to work, but he said it uses the dual power cords and if not mistaken said it had retailed at 4k when he got it and was the top of the line.

My setup- RTi12s, CSI5, FXA6 (side surrounds), RTi4 (back surrounds), RTi4 (front height), dual epik empires. I have an elite sc-57 avr, Epson 6010 ProCinema projector, and Oppo-93 BD player going to be controlled by a URC mx-880 and mrf-350.

I am an extreme novice on amps and wanted to see what everyone thought. With this could I run 2 channels each for my LR mains, 1 for the center, and then 1 for each of the side surrounds? Then run the front height and rear surrounds off the SC-57? Or be better to run all 7 off of the amp and front heights off the avr?

The room is 16x11x8 ft high. It is a dedicated room and will be used 3-4 times a week. 75% HT, 20% TV, 5% gaming. Any input would be great!!
Thanks.
