Saw these and thought they might complement a vintage SDA home theater as in-wall center channel or surrounds. No Affiliation.

    Interesting. Should timbre match well since the drivers were all manufactured at the same time as the last generation of SDA's. Looks like original caps - probably would be even sweeter with a Xover upgrade.

    Buy 'em, upgrade the x-overs, put RDO-194's tweeters in them and thank me later. I've have a pair and they are fantastic

    If I were using more vintage SDA's in my HT I would get them but the SRT's use a different tweeter and mid-driver.

    Didn't realize you had the SRT system. You're probably right, they may not match well. Does that system not come with a center channel?

    I have the mains and the center from the SRT system. Using TC265i in-walls for the surrounds. I know that many on here are using the vintage SDA's for mains but always ask what would make a good matching center or surrounds. This is probably as close as you can get if in-walls work.
