See these selling for $699 with shipping from an authorized dealer so it comes with the full 3-year warranty. Are these amps worth looking at to power some Polk LSi speakers? I'm still not sure which route I should take. I really don't get into movies much and when I do I don't care if I have rear speakers or not. If I went with a 3 speaker setup I could go with (2) LSi15 fronts and (1) LSiC center channel. Run 2 channels per LSi15 (which I'm sure will be 8ohms per channel due to bi-amping a 4-ohm speaker) and the center will be running the last channel at 4 ohms. Nowhere have I seen this amp is 4-ohm stable but it is THX Ultra certified, which I thought meant it had to be able to run all channels at 4-ohms. If that's the case, what do you think it will do per channel at 4-ohms and do you think it would be safe to do this? If so, I may just do (4) LSi9s and an LSiC.

I'm also looking to run an HK AVR 230 receiver (just came out) as a pre/pro. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks a million guys!
