HT Surround Speaker Thoughts
When and if the Mancave can be finished I will be stuck with deciding which speakers to use as surrounds. It will be an appx. 17' x 11' room that is open in the rear to a much larger area. I will still be using my Lsi15's as fronts and the LsiC as my center but I'm too afraid of keeping my Lsi9's on stands for rears. Too big of a chance for them to get knocked over since they'll be wide open to the larger room.
The surrounds will be mounted above the listening area and only maybe a foot or two behind right at the end of the room. I would like to get a pair of bipole/dipole speakers but am afraid that they will not be effective in that position. I can always mount a pair of directional speaks and be happy that way,too.

Wall mount is not an option ?

Wall mount is the only option unless I put another pair of floorstanders in the rear.
