I still wouldn't own one. So this makes no difference to me. They are probably the most Vanilla Cars on the road. No passion, no style, no feel. Just an appliance.

Can I get some "chocolate" to go with that, please?

Danny, what do those stats mean with regards to "recent" sales of this model. Up or down? I assume Up?

It's like a friend said to me years ago after a Tylenol recall, and later the Firestone/Bridgestone Tire debacle, etc. "As soon as you see something like this go down...buy stock immediately, because they'll be back and they'll make you a lot of money! They ALWAYS come back, especially when it seems 'darkest'. lol

I know both sales of the Corolla has gone down due to increased competition from Hyundai and domestic brands. Same with the Honda Civic. In fact, the current Civic has been trashed so bad by the automotive press that Honda is bringing out an all-new version 2 years ahead of regular model change schedule. Btw, the Civic is no longer sold in Japan either.

The VW Beetle has seen its sales gone down as well, although a new version just came out. Same with the Passat.

I'm quite sure the F-150 will continue to be the US' top selling vehicle though....and the Toyota Camry will be the top selling car.

I just bought the wife a 2012 Camry fully loaded SE, it's a pretty sweet sporty ride. She is very happy with it, the paint is called Attitude Black Metallic, and the wheels that came with it have like a twist look to it.

We have yet to see one like it, what I like is the front end is painted and not chrome like all the others we see. When we ordered it we really had no clue what it would look like just an idea..

As long as she is happy with it is all that matters to me but I love driving it as well..

I vote number 2 as well. But it's a reasonable priced car- most of the world
only wants it to run a long time and get good MPG.
How did the nasty ford Escort get to #5? Mine was the worst car I ever
owned. I milked it out 10 years, and dumped it with 70k on it.
Why only 70K? You don't put on many miles sitting broken in the driveway.

That's all alot of people want out of their car. I wouldn't drive one, but cars are more important to me than alot of other people. Alot of people just want something that's cheap, gets good MPG and will last a long time. You could argue that alot of people DON'T want that, but you'd be wrong and the numbers prove it.
