looking for some used gear instead of new.
-Hoping to get something at or above the levels of an SC-37. Amp I need some help and suggestions on. I am not particular to any. Could be B&K, Adcom, Parasound...etc. Im in no rush, but if anyone has an inkling to sell in the near future, I am in the market to listen.
This will be used primarily 80% HT.
Speaker plan is LSiM 707 fronts, 703 Backs, 706C, Micro 3000, then moving to surrounds later on.

cstmar,
Thanks for the reply. I'm fairly new to the game after a long time away. The 05 looks like a great receiver. It's in line with the 37 minus some features and some tweaks that Pioneer did improving the sound on the newer models. if you care to help me clarify the differences, it would be very appreciated.
I am leaning on waiting for a 37 due to those upgrades. However, I don't even understand it all! lol I get dizzy poking around and trying to compare everything. lol
I would not be against it since it would give me an excellent starting receiver and could move up at a later date.
Have you had any issues? I see on some reviews where they had some tech problems and the customers were on their own or left without a unit for some time...but that looks more the exception to the rule...all reviews for the most part were excellent!
What is your opinion on the receiver? Likes, dislikes?
What are you looking to sell it for?
Thanks!HOME THEATER 5.1
