I get my motivation by throwing in some Megadeth Rust in Peace or Countdown to Extinction, when you are cranking those you gotta be doing something, so why not work out while listening to Mustaine and the boys.

Anything in the metal department works for me.
Not many people working out to Boz Scaggs or the likes of Herb Alberts & the Tijuana Brass these days.

The suggestion of Dope - Die M F'er, although good, wouldn't be my first choice

Well, I am going to go totally against the grain here and suggest a band called Bond. It's basically a string quartet that mixes classical with techno. I'm not a fan of techno in general, but I like this combination. It's upbeat and enjoyable to listen to, but then I do like classical music, especially with strings.

I tend to go for electronica. Not trying to get my rage on, and the pieces tend to be at least as long as a set. If I'm doing cardio, I usually go for trance. For weights, house or drum and bass.

Marilyn Manson - "The Golden Age of Grotesque" works great. Lots of attitude and it does not quit until the end! Just be care not to mouth out some of the lyrics, not too girl friendly! lol

i will check into the above mentioned music.. i am using the Polk Audio Ultrafit 2000 headphones.. and the music sounds very good.. having them positioned correctly over your ears is crucial to get the most and best sound.. but they do sound extremely good to my ears..

Just try to choose a gym that provides you the best training. Also look for the personal training classes that will keep you fit and fine.

The CRAMPS a great suggestion maybe something Like "Garbageman" from "Songs the Lord Taught Us".

Also don't forget Iggy & The Stooges "Search and Destroy".

Or anything from "The Shaggs- Philosophy of the World"...... if you want to go totally spazz, make your heartbeat irregular, and maybe lose control of your bowels. This album is the best "room-clearer" ever, and you will not have to wait in line to get on equipment.

Some of Alter Bridge's stuff is great for working out. Good driving beat, but not oppressive.
