Ok, so this dude in New Freedom, PA, posted all of these ads in CL, and it's driving me nuts, because I'd love to check some of this stuff out! Can't seem to get him to answer his phone, though... Left several messages, but no return calls. :cry:

    That Wooden chair may be a Gunlocke. Sell it in the right place and you could buy a lot of his stereo stuff.

    Some interesting pieces there. Those Criterions look a bit like my HH Scott S-11s (similar CTS drivers). Have a version of the Sherwood Receiver (not sure if its the same number--nice tuner for a small unit). And I just had someone pick up four Nova 8 speakers which are similar (not exact copies) of the Optimus 5s. Why you ask? Because I have a vintage Realistic receiver and I thought I'd piece a complete Realistic '70s system together-looking for a decent LAB TT...(only need two of those 8s so I'm giving two to a friend if he wants them. If not...can you say "karma"?).

    Where exactly is Freedom, Pa. in relation to Phillie? Just curious. mdaudioguy, if my friend passes on the extra Nova 8s, would you want them (the Novas were in Eastern Pa)? (Won't be down to Pa. for a while though?).

    Wonder why the guy is not returning your calls. He certainly has a lot for sale there!

    New Freedom is due south of York, just over the MD line - not too far from me. I'm not really in the market for speakers right now, but I appreciate the thought!

    Yeah, I know nothing about the guy, but I hope everything's ok with him!

    Thanks, no problem on the speakers. I'll be leaving two in Pa. one way or another.

    Those tuners do look nice. I have a Kenwood KT-7300 coming soon.
