Just watched this yesterday on bluray and its right up there with my favorite all timers. The audio is top notch and opens up with pink credits playing the song nightcall by kavinsky as he drives around. The picture quality is just awesome and its has its fair share of violence thats not done in bad taste

If you have not saw this then check it out its f'n awesome compared to the usual trash that gets churned out these days

I agree with the opening credits, I turned to my son as they were playing and I told him I was going to love this movie. Boy did this movie not disappoint....if I had three thumbs, it would get a third from me. Highly recommended.

Really? Worth a blind buy? I have not seen or heard about this movie. Being in Japan you'll be surprised how much I really miss out on. Anyway let me know, I'll pick it up.

Well sherard everyone has their own opinions, but this movie was nothing like I expected. Gosling did a superb job. Think of it as an updated version of any of Clint eastwoods spaghetti westerns man with no name series. The director was aiming for it, an succeeded.

I just finished watching Drive, with Ryan Gossling, and it sucked!
Way too slow, very little action, horrible acting, not much driving, can't see any reason this movie was good. How this movie made even $35M is a mystery.
And by bad acting, I'd say Gosslings' level of talent in this flick, was right up there with John Cenas, in 'The Marine'. Yes, that bad.
    Sorry, JMO

Now, Faster, on the other hand, was VERY good. Dwayne Johnson was great, and the plot was good.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

The fact that Gosling was in the news for a while being considered a "snub" for a Best Actor nomination, you might want to reconsider your championing The Rock's acting chops over his performance in The Driver. Just sayin'....
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Buddy of mine hyped it up a few weeks back so I went for the blind buy... movie itself was OK but really didn't have the action or sound I was looking for. 2 car chases totaling about 1% of the movie... a few good kills I guess but overall pretty damn slow.

and yes, it's DRIVE not Driver... if you want to rant and rave about how good it is, at least get the title correct.

If you watch film for action and sound then you obviously don't have the intellect to digest a movie as a whole. Maybe my tastes are more sophisticated

Gossling is a great actor and everything about this movie was class. Its a shame you can appreciate good cinematography or character development. Just because the title id Drive it does not mean that is has to have a ton of cheap thrill car chases

Good movie but I don't get the end. He's so smart all the way through the movie and then all of a sudden he does stupid things at the end. I could list about 3 idiotic things but I don't want to give the movie away.

I watched it twice in two days...likEd it. Alot. Will go un-detected by the mainstream I'm sure...destined to become a cult favorite like True Romance and the Sam Rockwell acting epic 'Moon'.
