I had alot of interest in the curly maple audio rack, which I posted a few pics in the platforms ad. I thought about making some more, if there is serious interest. I would make them pretty close to the pics. Not quite as many shelves as that was overkill. I would have to get $1500 for them. Yes, I know that is not cheap, but alot of work and materials involved, not to mention the rare maple. To see additional pics, go to the maple platform FS thread.

Considering what I paid for a 6 shelf VTI your Maple rack at $1500 is a bargain. Even considering the drive to pick it up.

Considering everything involved, I believe the price is still pretty good.

I am glad you did not post a "straight wood feeler"! Because that is something totally different.

    BTW - very impressive work.

If you are really interested and I could fit 2 racks in my Expedition I could be tempted to make the drive out and bring 2 back. Much easier drive from Denver to Dallas for you.

This rack is so pretty and adjustable I might have to flip the VTI BL 404 I just installed last weekend.

Could you do a set of LSi7 side panels in that? Let me know the cost and when you can do them. Are you doing any other finishes?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Do you mean the color(un-dyed) or a different wood all together? Thee top and bottom shelves shown are natural(no dye).

    *UPDATE*

I am working on 3 racks currently and any interested folks can PM me or better yet, email me at musky1963@adelphia.net The very slow work up here(construction) this time of year has me burning the midnight oil in my woodshop.
