Need to buy one of these pairs for surounds. Which would you buy?

Depends on what you're running F&C as well as room dimensions. Whatcha got?

I voted for just surround is the RT7. I am currently using it for rear channels and it perfectly matches my system;)

for surround duty i think the RT55's are wasted. They're an excellent speaker but they are hard to place and can't be hung on the wall like RT35's. 55's are great, but the 35's get my vote for placement reasons and WAF if that matters to you.

Currently I have rt55s as fronts and rt7s as dual centers. I'm replacing the big 1985 era Infinity's as rears. So I already have shelves to support a big speaker like the 55. The RT7, RT55, and RTi35 all sport the tri-lam tweet so that is why I have narrowed it down to them. I'm sure anyone of them would do fine. I was just wondering if anyone had a favorite.

    Thanks!

I also use rt-7 for rears. They do a great job. No complaints from any of my guests! However, I am considering purchasing some lsifx's.
