Another subwoofer question for the experts.

Well I will try another subwoofer question as my last was answered with wonderful responses and trolls being trolls. I did however get my basement H/T set up and it is wonderful, so I figured I would try again.
So... I robbed :loneranger: my family room of some components for my basement system and I am building a very budget H/T for the enjoyment of the family and my inlaws on Sundays (Italian sunday dinner)(women aren't welcome in my H/T)
Ok so my family room is pretty small and pretty square. 13'3"L X 14'3"W x 8'H. I am running a 50" Pana 3d plasma, PS3, Xbox360, HD Comcast cable box, Yamaha RX-V471BL receiver Monitor 60's Front, CS2 Center, and Monitor 30's Rear. My subwoofer currently is a JBL 150watt (claimed which in my opinion it is probably closer to 75 watts:rolleyes:) but it is quite loud and a bit boomy, It's ok, but I want just a bit more, and the carbon fiber color is kind of terrible.
The JBL subwoofer was from this set of speakers- http://www.amazon.com/JBL-5-1-Channel-Surround-Subwoofer-SCS500-5/dp/B0012LKJ48/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328031948&sr=1-1
Ok here is my question, How would 2 low cost PSW 10's sound in comparison? I love the silver/cherry/black look that will match the monitors, so ascetically they are perfect, the price is right, but would they sound any better (I know it is subjective but could it disappoint me with much less bass?) but will it hold up to some rap or heavy metal music?? I love the bass in the chest feel. I tried one in my H/T setup a while back and it was a bit hollow, but we could blame that on the 22'x15' basement room and concrete floor.
Also on sale is this klipsch Sub 10. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/details/549220138/klipsch-sub10 Has anyone heard it? For this room I do not need Definitive's like my basement. I need something @ $250 that is both slightly tighter than the boomy JBL, and more pleasing to the eye. A cherry finish would be wonderful. I am buying tomorrow most likely. This is a budget system, and I want to keep it that way.
My hope is that two discount PSW 10's will sound as good or better, because they would look so good, I know I would need 27 pairs of Y adapters, but I can deal with that. Any help would be appreciated any trolls should go play in traffic.

The 505 sub is your better choice or one of the micro pro subs. Plenty of other sub makers too to look at, HSU, SVS, Epik, to name a few.HT SYSTEM-
Sony 850c 4k
Pioneer elite vhx 21
Sony 4k BRP
SVS SB-2000
Polk Sig. 20's
Polk FX500 surrounds
Cables-
Acoustic zen Satori speaker cables
Acoustic zen Matrix 2 IC's
Wireworld eclipse 7 ic's
Audio metallurgy ga-o digital cable
Kitchen
Sonos zp90
Grant Fidelity tube dac
B&k 1420
lsi 9's -
2 psw 10's will be underwhelming. I would either stretch your budget or wait until you have the money for something better suited for HT
tonyb's suggestions are great2 Mirage OMD-5's (burled Maple)
1 Mirage OMD-C1
4 Mirage nanosat MX
Mirage MM-6
Def Tech Prosub 100
Pioneer Elite vsx-40
BJC cable -
Honestly, I'd keep an eye on your local craigslist for a sub... if you are patient, you should be able to find something there that will give you the bass you want and still keep it under budget. The other place to watch is the Vanns.com clearance section -- often some excellent deals there.
In the past week or two, there were several of the Klipsch Sub 10s in the clearance section as low as $110. Not that that's the ideal solution, but I'd expect you can come up with something you will enjoy that will sound better than a pair of PSW10s. Part of the challenge in a room that small would be getting two subs in optimal locations without them being in the way. I think you'd definitely be better off with one better sub rather than two so-so ones in that space.5.1 theater - Pioneer SC-07, Mirage OMD-CC center, 4 x Mirage Omnisats, Boston Acoustics VPS-210 sub
2.1 living room - NAD 7400 integrated, 2 x Platinum Audio Duos, MIT Terminator4 cables
2.1 bedroom- Arcam Solo, 2 x Mirage OMD-5's
FOR SALE - Genesis Servo-10 sub, Genesis Servo-12 amp; Martin Logan Dynamo sub; Mirage MM-6 sub; Harman Kardon DPR-1001 7.1 receiver -
Ok, that was my concern, I thought the one I listened to was really weak too bad because they would look great. But, my budget is not going to change. I dumped $2500 into my basement home theater. $250 is what I will be spending end of story.
I spent 1 month auditioning 5 different subs for my last home theater before settling on the one I liked best(Definitive Super cube 6000 to my ears it sounded best). After spending all that money (I know $850 isn't much to you guys, but I have other responsibilities and hobbies), I am done, I need an air mover, or two, that sound OK and look nice. Between being in a band as a teen, being a car audio installer as a young adult, and doing metal fab and working on race cars, I am half deaf and I listen to garage recorded punk music anyhow.
I know the BIC F-12 moves more air than my JBL, so I may just go that route and use the extra to pick up some cherry veneer to make it match. I was hoping for someone to say "the PSW10's are under rated, but I guess not.
Tony B's selections are great, but are not going to happen. Are two low end Polks going to have the same volume as a low end JBL that was my question. I will accept underwhelming as an answer, Thank You, I may have to avoid them. -

Thanks! $110 that cheap huh? I am very anti clutter, so my room and it's furnishings are sparse, so I have the space, though no room to have them on opposing walls. I was hoping that placing them near the front speakers would yeild a favorable result. I am scouring craigslist, but nothing yet. So I do have room for two, but yes I knew to take the wonderful PSW 10 ratings on Newegg with a grain of salt, and to come here for advice. Thanks guys I will avoid them I am 99% sure!
Thank you guys very much!
And yes patience is a virtue, but in my house that patience will mean my subwoofer money turns into "let's re-tile the bathroom this weekend" and 3 grand later my I will have to wait another 2 months to finish up my budget system.
Maybe two of those Klipsch's will do me well if I can get that deal, I used to be a klipsch fan until I found all the discount Polk stuff and gave it a try.
EDIT- I think the 505 is the way I am leaning now. Wow, I feel like a flip flopping politician, thanks guys, I am going to audition the 505 and give it a shot, I had no idea they had come down in price that much. I can't say it enough thank you guys!
