I am upgrading my reciever and in the process need to move it from its current location. I will need to move the wires anyway and in the process I figured I might as well upgrade them to higher quality 12 gauge wire with banana plugs. I assume fully copper wire is best... Does fine strand make a difference good or bad?
I need about 100 foot to completely rewire.... does anyone have a good source for good quality wire? And how much should I expect to pay? Of course I want to spend as little as possible, but I also want good quality wiring so I can get all of the power and quality that I can...
Is this good stuff or is there better and/or cheaper stuff?

Also, are these a good choice for banan plugs?

I just rewired my surrounds with KnuKonceptz flat 12-gauge braided wire (aka, "Kompressed"). Looks and feels like a quality product, reasonably priced, sound quality is better, and my wife is very pleased about the flat, white wire running along the baseboard. They have other 12-gauge wire as well, in a variety of quality and price points.Main HT/Music Room: Polk LSi15 front, LSiC center, FXi30 surround speakers, HSU Research VTF-3 MK3 Subwoofer

I recently bought the monoprice 12 gauge wire on a 100 ft roll. You can't find a better price, and I'm very happy with the quality. BTW, a lot of the speaker wire on amazon has mixed reviews; one problem I noticed in particular was rolls with multiple wire pieces on them. ie 50 + 20 + 30 as a 100 foot roll.
