Question for those who do total refittings/building with speaker tech.
I went from doing top end design work/finishing career in construction, to a much more "age friendly" white collar job. My present job is perfect but.....find I still have a need to create (using my hands) and have decided to take on a set of speaks to heavily modify the external aspects of their design. My fear is to put a huge amount of work into them and have something that has inherent restrictions for future maintenance (to internal components).
I'd like to use something I have now/have access to....as a launching point:
1. LS90's
2. LS70's
3. RT12's
4. Matching speaks to above.
Where are these products at in regards to replacement parts/or straight forwardly upgrading matched components...generally speaking. Would it take a direct call to Polk?
