Trying to go all PSB for HT for a while. Looking for a PSB Alpha C1 center to match the Alpha B1s. Have a CS400i in great shape for trade, or money, whatever.

deron,
For what its worth I had an all PSB setup. I had the Alpha series and then upgraded to the Image series. Still have the Subsonic 6 actually. They have been called the "Canadian Polks" and I agree. I had the maple finish and they were really nice looking. I just wanted to change out gear so I got rid of them a year or two ago. I have an all polk set up now - cs400, RT55's and RT35's. I like this set up better in terms of Home theater, but not by much.
Here's a pair with free shipping: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PSB-Alpha-B1-Bookshelf-Speakers-1pr-NEW-Black-/390386166557?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item5ae4d42b1dShawn

I like the RT series. Sounds very natural. Just getting the itch. Got a great deal on a pair of B1s from Pepster. The center is harder to find. None used and Crutchfield wants over MSRP for it. I like the CS400i and will be happy with it until I can find an Alpha C1 used.

I don't see them on their website but you may want to give the guys at Saturday audio a call and see if they happen to have one laying around somewhere

I had that exact set-up. Had the B1's for main and surround duty and the C1 (upgraded from the CLR) for center channel. A very nice setup.AsSiMiLaTeD wrote: »I don't see them on their website but you may want to give the guys at Saturday audio a call and see if they happen to have one laying around somewhere
+1; i got most, if not all, of my PSB speakers from them. Their customer service is great and occassionally they have some major clearance prices on them.Shawn

Thanks for the input from both of you. I'll give Saturday Audio a try. -
