Woot.com is selling a refurbished 32GB HP Touchpad for $225 shipped, sellout.woot.com is selling a refurbished 16GB HP Touchpad for $175 shipped.

There is a Squeezebox Control XL app available for it for $10 from the webOS app store.

Of course it does much more than Squeeze Control as it is a full-featured tablet. HP threw in the towel early on the Touchpad and webOS, so no more will be made. However HP released webOS as open source, so if the developer interest is there, the platform will have continued support from the open source community.

I have two 32GB Touchpads and like them very much. Didn't know what I'd use them for at first, but it's great to have something near the couch I can reach for and use to look up something on a website, or check my email, or control my Squeezebox.

Overpriced. During HP's fire sale 16GB were for $99 and the 32GB were for $149 or $199 I believe.

    I love my Playbook.

Only overpriced if you can actually acquire some for those prices.

In other news.. Cyanogenmod with ICS alpha 0.5 is out. Awesome interface.

I found arguably the last Touchpad for $99 at Sears last week....

Did you ever get the last one! Those things sold out months ago everywhere else.

I picked up 2 of the touchpads, and they are great. Overpriced? No way. As stated, they did sell for cheaper before. Although you will still be hard pressed to find a better tablet even at the $225 price.

I guess it's a moot point though, they both sold out yesterday

Woot.com selling a refurbished 16GB Toshiba Thrive (Android) today for $285. Not as good a deal as the Touchpad was, but cheaper than you will find a Thrive anywhere else. Might be the thing if you are looking for a decent Android tablet.
