Possible Super Bowl TV commercial for Honda (as rumored)? Will we get cameos from Alan Ruck (Cameron) and Mia Sara (Sloane)? Is Ferris still adored by "the sportos, the motorheads, geeks, ****, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, and the dickheads"? I sure hope Ferris is still the "righteous dude" that he was.

No, you're not. Not yet. We're working on that problem, however.

Did you actually think it was good? Compared to the The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off was a masterpiece.

I liked the BC, just though FB sucked. He spent too much time panning to the camera. You can do it once, like Eddie Murphy did in Trading Places, but to do it multiple time, and actually talk to the audience....no.

It's an 80's thing. And it "also" depends on if this movie came out in your "formative" years. Meaning, were you a teenager or young adult of 21 or younger when this came out! It's also possible you were a precocious Elementary Schooler?

That pretty much tags you as a fan--most of the time. Older or much much younger...it's tough to call.

I've never seen it, I lived in Germany, through the 80's and half of the 90's if an american made movie hit the big screens over there with all the hype and publicity it was A Slyvester Stallone Movie, Arnold Scwarzenegger Film or major horror movie most of the 80's teen movies were not popular over there, Eddie Murphy Movies were pretty Popular over there though. Ive never seen Breakfast Club St Elmos Fire or Ferris Bueller am I missing something?

Here it is....the full commercial. Apparently there're over 2 dozen references to the movie.

Meh. I liked the movie, but that commercial wasn't all that great.

I also don't like what they did with the new CR-V. I own a 2008 CR-V, and even that generation isn't great looking exterior-wise; but, the interior design, functionality and drivability more than make up for it. However, the new CR-V somehow manages to make the exterior look even worse, and the interior design went downhill as well. I sat in one a few weeks ago, and they really failed with the interior; it's less ergonomic/functional, and doesn't look good either.

It was a crappy movie when it came out and I'm sure this will be equally crappy. MHO, nothing more.
