yea, I'm contemplating buying Sal's 3910 in the FM (I have one already and know it's a good player), but I'm gonna try to find a cheaper one first. If I can't find one in a week or so, and Sal hasn't sold the 3910 yet, I'll probably buy it.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

I've got an NAD 5240.
Thanks. I just found your For Sale thread. Let me think about it. I'd like to have a SPDIF out, but it's not necessarily a deal breaker.
Cheers,

Any interest in a changer? I've got a glut of them; one can be yours for the cost of postage if you want.
The other thing I could offer would be a DVD player that would have digital output for a DAC. Same price. Have to "check stock" on those :-)
I can't resist the things when they turn up on the swap pile (and sometimes even the scrap metal pile) at my favorite local vintage audio emporium :-) They're like cute puppies at an animal shelter... :-P
(strictly for illustrative purposes; actual model may vary)
(this one has a little issue with the tray, though...) -
mhardy, I'm interested in one of your CD changers. Can you let me know the model (or models) of the ones you'd like to part with?

I'll check stock and PM ye.
EDIT: D'oh... wait a minute! Let's see if the OP is interested first... sorry! :-P -

haha, no worries, this is not a critical piece.

:-) I can probably meet the pent-up demand, too!
The hardest part, with the 5 disc changers, is finding an appropriate-sized box to fit 'em in...
I definitely (still) have a surplus CDP-C211 downstairs. No remote, though, unfortunately (the Sony remotes are fairly interchangeable IME and a universal remote should provide at least the basic CD player functions). -

It's yours for free if you want it. No remote. -
I've got a couple Nak's that should fit that bill. OMS-1 single-disc and MB-5 changer.
-
And a couple Denon also. DCD-910 single-disc and some kind of changer (2610?) And a NAD single-disc. And a Teac ZD-3000 single-disc.
-
... mmm, that Denon is a nice CDP. Just sayin', you know?
