Worth the $25 or not??

I know it's to the suggested upgrade (not even close), but wouldn't this be an upgrade over the wall wart that comes with a Squeezebox? Would there be any issues with running it even if there is no improvement?

    What does it come with? A wall wart or a laptop style? One is better than the other.

    I wouldn't hook that Pyramid power supple up to a squeezebox.

    There has to be a better choice out there.

    Those types of supplies don't really have very good filtering at all. Also made to pretty limited price point, so what's there is generally reallllllly cheap parts!

    At least you can crack this one open and upgrade the parts if you really wish to do so.

    I have the 52 amp version and it kicks ****. There isn't a linear amplifier that I am scared of. It runs my ranger 2950 without a hickup. Now this little dude... Not a bad "Does it turn on with 12 volts? " power supply. Run longer than a quick test or two? I wouldn't. 25 bucks ain't bad.
