OMW5 timbre match with what?
Can someone tell me what family the OMW5 is timbre matched with? I've read somewhere that it didn't fare well with some polks series....
I plan to use them as "width" and "height" speaker for a 9.2 setup (audyssey DSX or Neo: X) to be powered by either a Denon 4311 or an Onkyo 3009. Subs will be a ported cylinder SVS plus or ultra. 90% to be used on movies and 10% games/TV.
Question is, is it Timbre matched with the RTi / Lsi / Tsi / Etc? I plan to get a pair of Bookshelf for fronts and a big Center. Rear surrounrs will probably be Rti or somthing else (still thinking).

I believe the TSi series is the Timbre Match to the OMW series.

Hmmm I see. So I guess choosing speakers from Rti / Lsi would be a bad idea....

I would go LSi if you can. The Timbre match on height's can't be as necessary as the match between the fronts and rear surrounds. And considering how much better LSi's sound over TSi's I would go there.
So if you are looking to purchase the rest of the speakers I would go all one series. Keep the OWM's for the heights and get all LSi's or RTi's for the rest.
