hello

would like to ask if the following speakers would be far better then the TL350 speaker

Front speaker Rti A3
center Csi A6
Surround Rti A3

was tempted to get the TL350 5pack speaker for its size, but was advise to get the Rti bookshelf instead coz they would sound better, will they sound better by a huge marging?

this would be paired with a onkyo TX-NR609 and DSW Pro660Wi

thanks

Looks like a nice system ya got there. I never heard the TL350 package, but i'm sure the Rti's sound great. I think you will be quite pleased with your selection.

    thanks for the info

im just a newbie setting up a home theater

would like to ask about more detailed, does that mean the sound quailty is better due to the new tech like the radiator tweeter? than the Rti A3?

and also about the fuller sound, does that mean its louder? can accomodate a bigger room?

the room i'll be using the speaker for is a small room around 15 square meter, and i want smaller speaker for easy installation on a pure ht setup, would preffer sound quality then louder max sound

Its really up to you. I beieve everyones definition of what sounds detailed and fuller is going to be different. Fuller doesn't necessarily mean louder, just a more envaloped sound. Detailed is just that. I would go with the RTI's. Just my opinion. That being said, i never heard the 350. I have used Diffinitiv Tech satalites and thought they were quite good till i heard the RTI's. I don't think satalites are gonna give you as good of sound as good bookshelfs. Just my opinion. Good luck and keep us posted with what you decide on.

    thanks for the help guys!

    Center: Csi A6
    Surround: Fxi A6
    sub: DSW Pro 660Wi

    7.1
    AVR: TX-NR609

I'd go with the polk's forsure. The 7.1 system you want to upgrade to though, your receiver would struggle running 7 speakers like that.

You can run a 7.1 setup with this receiver, you just have to chose your speakers accordingly. If you are doing 7.1, a capable nice quality sub is imprerative, and as for speakers, I would go with this:

    7.1
    Front: Rti A3
    Center: Csi A6
    Surround: Fxi A4 or Rtia1
    Rear Surround: Rti A1
    Sub: DSW Pro 660Wi

Remember: big speakers need big power to sound their best(which you don't have), and smaller speakers will make much better use of what is available.
Cross everything over at 80-120hz(I would be closer to 120hz), blend in your sub to match based on your taste, and enjoy the show!
    Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

    M70 | CS2 | M60 | Atrium5 - Surr. | SUB - Emotiva ULTRA12 + Tara Labs sub cable | Pioneer Elite VSX-52 | Parasound HCAs 1000A | Sony BDP-S790 | Belkin PureAV PF60 | MIT Exp2 Wires

    Bedroom 5.0 HT Rig (Music/Movies/Gaming) :

    LSi9 | LsiC | Lsi/fx | Marantz SR7002 | NAD T955 | Sony BDP-S360 | Belkin PureAV PF30 | AQ Blue Racer II ICs & AQ Type 4 wires | PS3

i see thanks for the input

another question for the amp, im not sure how to ask the question or proper term for it, so here goes, does the load "capable of driving a speaker" of the amp for lets say 7.1 setup are distributed to all channel or its separate for each?

    example:

    7.1
    Front: Rti A3
    Center: Csi A6
    Surround: Fxi A4
    Rear Surround: Rti A1
    Sub: DSW Pro 660Wi

if i take out the rear surround: "Rti A1" and install a self powered speaker for the rears lets say wireless FX , would it lessen the load on the fronts and lets me use a bigger speaker? or it doesnt help cause they have separate power per channel?

It isnt much of a drop off according to Home Theater Mag.

81 wpc with 5 channels, and 77 wpc with 7 channels driven.

I would at least go up to the TX-NR709. The 609 doesnt have amplifier pre outs so you can't add an amp later on down the road.

    http://www.hometheater.com/content/onkyo-tx-nr609-av-receiver-ht-labs-measures
    AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808
    Amplifier: Carver A-753x 250 watts x 3
Fronts: Polk RTI A7 (modded by Trey VR3)
Center: CSI A4 (modded by Trey VR3)
    Rear: FXI A4
    Sub: Polk DSW Pro 660wi
    TV: LG Infinia 50PX950 3D
    Speaker Cable: AudioQuest Type 8
    IC: AudioQuest Black Mamba II
