    Give it a few days and you can grab one from Newegg for $229. Otherwise local will be your friend. Shipping is likely to kill any deal around here.

    I've been keeping an eye on NewEgg. I sent them a message about when they anticipated getting more, haven't heard back. Is it normal for them to run out and then get more stock?

    Stew - yeah, they run outta Polk stuff all the time. If they truely ever did run out, a lot of people around here would freak out! Newegg "makes" their own line, called the Series II with some older parts, mixed with newer parts.

    I've never seen them sold out of anything for more than a couple weeks.

    I have owned the 505 before. IMO you are better off saving up a bit and buy a dsw sub from newegg. I have 2 dsw 600's and they are great. The newer dsw subs have twice the amp power. I found the 505 to be a bit boomy but the dsw's really pack a punch. newegg puts them on sale quite often. I'm pretty sure others will agree.
