    Welcome to Polk dnezme. I won't sell my Sunfire for quite some time. Hope you find one and if you do, grab it!

    I have one that no longer works... I still have to send it in for repairs... Apparently the caps on the amp board fail which results in a bad hum. I understand this is a very common problem with the Sunfire True subs.

    Another issue is that the subwoofer foam surrounds deteriorate with age. Sunfire do not have replacements available. Parts Express has a sub that somewhat matches but is not 100% compatible.

    i just sent my amp in a couple weeks ago to have it repaired. but was told thaT replacement parts for the EQ models are no longer availible. mine still works fine but has a slight hum to it. im thinking of moving on to a different sub.
