My two boys and I pick teams at the beginning of the season starting with whoever draws the highest card from a deck of cards. Whoever picks the Superbowl winner gets a BBQ meal of their choice.

Its down to my youngest (13) who has both teams in the AFC and me - got both NFC teams.

So - we both want good games today w/ no stress.

On the line are home BBQ ribs, or my special grilled double patty hamburgers!

It seemed to me as if Alex Smith got too conservative in the 4th quarter - as if he was trying not to loose as opposed to trying to win the game.

Shuda pulled a Tebow - put the team on his back and will the win....

If Smith was playing like Tebow SF wouldn't have been in the NFC title game to begin with...

The team didn't lose because of Alex Smith, they lost because #10 fumbled the punt...TWICE. The 49ers played an excellent game, #10 literally cost them the game, twice.

I'm not going to say something like the 49ers were the better team. Clearly the teams were very evenly matched, the fumbles by #10 were the difference though.

I feel bad for Kyle Williams. The 1st muff was inexcusable. The 2nd one, the guy was trying make a play but ended up costing his team a chance to the Superbowl.
