Late christmas. I'm in IT, and we had a lot of projects that involved working weekends (near the end of the year) - so my company pushed our party back until after things settled down a bit.

I bought one of these I-pads last year and intended to download apps that would control my Onkyo and Yamaha AVR's. Haven't done so yet, have any of you? I have now it sitting in a box someplace as I brew tired of APPLE and how none of their stuff works/merges with my windows media stuff. I would like to stream from my pc to my wireless router and pick it up with my network AVR's. I did pick up an Apple TV unit for the same purpose but...they don't seem to play together. I'm back to CD's for music and DVD's for movies although I do have a wifi blue-ray on my basement rig working splendidly. I think I have become "overly technowlolidglyfied" (just made up that word, kind of like it). What are you guys running.?

Squeezebox / Sonos are the 2 most viable ways to stream that I've run across. Granted, you can stream from DVD/TV or anything else that supports DLNA, but the interfaces just aren't there yet.

I've got so many "streaming" items in the house now that I think it won't be too much longer before I get Netflix and Pandora (paid). I've got Dish, and was hoping Blockbuster Movie Pass would work out, but i'm not keeping my fingers crossed. I think Netflix still has the best product for streaming.
