Plastic oboe repads can run $250 to $450 and wooden pro models can be $450 to $650. Oboes are tough to work on and require more tech time
to get them adjusted correctly. You should have heard the first half. I picked the lesser of the more than adult innuendos that plagued that conversation. Her oboe is in top condition but I plan to recork it here shortly any way. lol

Maybe she mean't to say ,"reoboe her cork"? If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.
