    Plastic oboe repads can run $250 to $450 and wooden pro models can be $450 to $650. Oboes are tough to work on and require more tech time
    to get them adjusted correctly. I would have it thoroughly checked out, it may not require a full repad job unless pad bugs have had their way with it.

    You should have heard the first half. I picked the lesser of the more than adult innuendos that plagued that conversation. Her oboe is in top condition but I plan to recork it here shortly any way. lol

    P.S. She said cork not pad. If she had said pad I would have run the other way! LOL
