    I had a 8080 for about 10 years. Not a bad receiver.

I just flipped a full Sansui system I bought from a pensioner who didn't want it anymore.
    G6700 receiver
    SP-X7700 speakers (16" woofers)
matching cassette deck and original Sansui rack

It all sounded pretty good and I turned a 300% profit.
    SDA-1C (full mods)
    Carver TFM-55
    NAD 1130 Pre-amp
    Rega Planar 3 TT/Shelter 501 MkII
    The Clamp
Revox A77 Mk IV Dolby reel to reel
    Thorens TD160/Mission 774 arm/Stanton 881S Shibata
    Nakamichi CR7 Cassette Deck
Rotel RCD-855 with modified tube output stage
    Cambridge Audio DACmagic Plus
    ADC Soundshaper 3 EQ
    Ben's IC's
    Nitty Gritty 1.5FI RCM

Back in the day in Seattle ( my teen-early adult years) Sansui and Speakerlab speakers was the cool stuff to have.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I have an older Sansui Receiver in the "collection". They were nice pieces. Might pick up one of the well-known "integrateds" as some point.

Any of you guys still have a wardrobe like the one in the video. lol
