Hi, I've been a lurker here for quite a while and finally joined recently.
I have enjoyed the discussions here and have learned a great deal and also had many perceptions changed
based on fact.

I am looking for an amp and I have narrowed down the choices to the Rotel RB-1572 and NAD C275BEE.
I know there are other brands (Emotiva, Parasound, etc...) but I have narrowed to these 2.
I will be using the amp to power the RTiA9's

Anyone have any negative experiences with either amp or Brand?
My system is just mainly for home theater use with the occasional cd here and there.

I have heard the NAD in person with a preamp & cd player feeding into a $12,000 pair of B&W towers (don't know the model) and the sound was very good.
Nice and warm with no unpleasantness in the few bits of music I heard while testing the setup.
The NAD seemed to be very capable for the B&W's.

I haven't seen the Rotel in action so I am basically wanting some feedback and opinions from this community.
Can anyone see any glaring weaknesses of one versus the other?
The price difference is negligible.
I have heard nothing negative about the NAD from my searching online. The quality and reliability seems to be good.
I haven't heard much negative about Rotel either so I am just doing a bit of due diligence with people who use power amps daily.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have the NAD 375 integrated (same amp as 275) and it is very powerful. Use it with my LSi9s but never hooked up the RTi A7s but I'm sure it would do a good job. 50 amps peak current as well. Warm sound, great dynamics and bass response/control.

Haven't heard rotel but they are supposed to be real nice as well.
ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place :(
