What are these?

They look like they could be a Speakerlab design with the vertical mid horn, but I'm unsure. I feel like I've seen them somewhere in the past, but maybe someone here would know. I don't think they are custom, but anything is possible...

Not sure what they are. Mr. Hardy will know! They sure look interesting. Did you snag them? How do they sound?--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
Have not snagged them yet as they aren't cheap. These would replace my custom Klipsch Fortes if I pulled the trigger, but I just don't think it would be a step up...

They look very much like a speakerlab design. I remember hearing Speakerlab 7's with a vertical horn. The dispersion patter was much smoother than normal horizontal horns for nearfield but lost something once you stepped back a bit.

They remind me of: http://www.stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/jbl_synthesis_1400_array_bg_loudspeaker/index.html
Any way you can demo them first? For all you know they could be a DIY job. Which may, or may not be a good thing."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
