I did a quick search and didn't find anything on the boards here about it, but I was checking prices on Amazon for Dynamat and came across Metra Ballistic. Anyone have any experience? Supposedly its butyl based and comparable in price but it claims to be thicker. ...anyone have any thoughts/info?

And I don't mean to open up a conversation about fatmat hushmat etc. Just a comparison between these two. I've used Metra products for my steering wheel remote and head unit install and have been really happy so I'm pretty curious about this.

Go with Second Skin Damplifier or Spectrum. Good pricing and great product.

Though I appreciate the advice, I still want to hear some info on my original question. But really? Does no one have experience with Metra's product? No one has even heard anything?
