Went home for lunch today, kicked back and listen to some tunes to relax and all the sudden my Rt rear RT400 started craching at louder listening levels, especially during heavier bass! Never took apart speakers before, but these girls are old,and have served me brilliatly through the years! Worth fixing? If so whats wrong, and how to fix it! I'm not a speaker genius, but am mechanically inclined. Or maybee its time to let these old girls go. Any thoughts fella's? Kinda a sad day today,as these were my 1st polk speakers, and got me hooked on listening pleasure.
Good Day!

Call polk CS to see if they can replace/repair your woofers. They might be burnt/blown.
