Hello folks. I am selling my RTiA9's that I have owned since they were a pup. But seriously all kidding aside, I am selling one pair of RTiA9's and the matching center channel (Csi A6) also in cherry for $475.00. There is a small chip on the front edge of the center channel. The grilles have some minor wear but other than that the speakers are beauties. Also, I am posting these for local pickup only. I don't want to ship these. Let me know if you have any questions, I will post pictures later. Cheers.

Please provide location and/or if you'd be willing to drive part way to meet. I drooled over the pair that was in Wisconsin for sale for a great price and didn't have the coin or I'd prob driven to indy at least to make it happen. I'm in Tri-Cities TN (Johnson City) and you have my wheels spinning. I'd have to put a bunch of stuff up for sale immediately on local CL to appease the wife since I'm driving 8hr Thur to buy $300 worth of more speakers but man with that center included I'm racking my brain to figure a way to make it work. PM w/ # if you'd like to discuss. I'm assuming you are in the Baltimore area due to Polk affiliation but could be wrong. This is a great deal and if anyone is close they should be running out the door now.

My point exactly! You never can tell what tomorrow might bring... I may be hit by a bus, or otherwise maimed, disfigured, or eliminated.

Just wanted to post a quick update:

I have the speakers all hooked up, they sound great, and everything works perfectly!

These speakers are real over-achievers. I briefly put the A9's into my 2-channel system to really test them out, and I was surprised by how well they performed... not quite is good as the Ushers, but they shouldn't be.

Now I just need to decide if I'm going to keep these RTi's for the HT or keep the Mirage Msi series system that I had before. They both sound great!

Thanks again, Tony, for the excellent deal and help.

    Top notch polkie!

    Cheers,

    Ben

Falcon- if you decide to flip the RTiA9's, I'd be interested in talking to you. I really want a pair but budget wise too much new and I'm willing to make a drive to pick up if necesarry. Would need to sell a few things first so a little lead time would be great. Personally I hope you love them and know you got a great deal from Nap. I'm not familiar w/ either the Mirage or Usher's so don't know how they should compare. They A9's are on my short list of where I'd like to be in a year. I'm looking into the Paradigm studio line as well.

At least these speakers are a little closer to you, if you can talk Ben into selling them at some point. Anyway, just wanted to add that Ben was great to deal with as well. A great transaction, good to meet someone from the forum with an appreciation of what the hobby is about. Cheers.

I'll let you know. I'm hoping to make a decision within a week or so.
I'm not familiar w/ either the Mirage or Usher's so don't know how they should compare.

The Mirages are of comparable quality the RTi's, they just sound and look very different, so I have to pick which fits my ears better.

The Ushers are in a different league both physically and sonically, but they live in my 2-channel system, not the HT.
