Is the CSi25 and the CSi3 the same speaker?

Would it be stupid to upgrade from a CSi25 to a CSi3? When I look at the specks, it looks like they are close to the same speaker. I'd like to upgrade a little on my center channel speaker (to hear dialogue better), but don't have the money to go up to a CSi5. Crutchfield has the CSi3 for $129 shipped, which I can afford.

If it matters, I have RTi8 fronts, CSi25 center, and Monitor 30 rears with an HK AVR240 receiver.

Thanks,
Gino

No they are not the same, and yes you should hear a difference. The CSi25 is timber matched to the r and m series, which are the entry level. Then comes the tsi series and then the rti, which is what the csi3 is matched to. When I upgraded from a cs1 (monitor series) to a csi3 with a pair of rti6s it made a big difference. Just the weight tells a lot of the story. Good luck!
