KEF Q900,Q600 Review

After receiving my Q900's/Q600 10 days ago, I played for 10 days at medium levels. Tonight I let them open up.
These speakers leave me breathless! Keeping in mind I replaced my RT2000i's with these, which had built in subwoofers. I was a little hesitant on how the base response would be seeing though I do not have a seperate sub. These speakers responded in every way possible.
Taking the advice from pearsall(Phil), I took a leap in purchasing these speakers. The accuracy from high to low has impressed me so much as to keep me from the thought of upgrading as much as I have in the past.I know I have only owned these for 10 days, but I dont know how it could get any gooder than this These speakers fill the room with crisp/not bright sounds. The low end is tighter than I imagined, and the sound is just pure, fluid music! The looks are drop dead gorgeous! And just as important, my wife told me she could actually hear the difference in sound! That blew me away,as she know nothing about how I tick, when it comes to hearing the music. And a big props to my Rt400's! I am using these for surrounds, and they blend in perfectly! I have said on this forum before,I would never get rid of these(as they were my 1st)and they leave me proud as ever to own them paired up with the Kef's! Together; Awesome,Awesome,Awesome!!!!!! One of my favorite songs to test my set-up is Michael Buble;Save the last dance for me,as the trumpets/drums/voice come to a sharp end many times in this song! This leave's a smile on my face that I cant seem to wipe off!!! Truly stunning!!!!
Since joining this forum a year ago,I have read lots, and learned lots. Spent even more than I learned! But now,I just want a good Universal BDP to upgrade my cheap Sony DVD player,(that i use for Cd's) and I think I may be content for awhile! But then again, who knows? Maybee i'll start reading cable threads:cheesygrin:
Thanx all for the great advice in the past year! Club Polk is an awesome place to be! I'll keep reading, even if i dont buy anything! To all the nice people on this forum; Good Day,Good Luck, and Godspeed!

Thanx Tony,I've been debating between the oppo bd083,and cambridge 650bd! Seems I cant go wrong between either! I keep wondering how I will notice a difference in sound from my cheap sony dvd player i have now? Everything sounds so good, how can it get any better?"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"
