There is no such thing as too much power! :-)

There is such a thing as 'stupid loud' though

Ditto! Not an issue. LSi speajers like power to begin with, so this will let them show their true potential and make them shine.

    +1.

The amp will only give the speakers as much power as they require to play at a certain volume. It's always better to have an amp that is capable of giving more power than the speakers require to play at the volumes you want, rather than having an amp that is incapable of giving enough power to play at the volumes you want. When you start asking an amp to give more than it's capable of, that's when you can damage the amp or the speakers, plus it will sound bad.

So yea, no such thing as having an amp that is capable of delivering too much power, but it is possible to give the speakers too much power by driving them to ridiculous volume levels. You would have to drive those LSi's to ungodly levels to damage them with clean power.

    Welcom to CP, btw!

Thanx for the replies guys! I was just concerned because the lsi being a 4 ohm speaker which will make my mpa3250 500 watts a channel driven at 4 ohms which is double what the lsi 15's are rated at and more so for the center lol.

Your good - no worries with the amp and speaker matchup. Nice amp by the way.
Do you hear that buzzing noise?
