Great condition pair of LSI 9's with the wood panels removed. Conservatively rated at a 7.5 for some light scratches and Im the second owner. I do have have the orginal box or manual. Personally I love these speakers in the all gloss black finish as the Ebony did not match my black ash finish furniture well,
Id also consider a trade for a pair of 7's and a little cash. Ill post pictures tonight, but im only looking for
425.00 plus shipping if needed
Money order, personal check or pay pal excepted. Please add 3% for pp feels.
Only reason for sale is i need I cant hang my 9's high enough to keep them away from my toddler.
Check out my sales record on either ebay or audiogon as logo896.I also have many happy customers here on the forum.

Sorry I will have to pass. Just did some further reading up on the LSi series & unless you have a 4ohm amp, they wont sound their best. At this point it doesn't make sense for me spend additional $$$ for an amp so I think I will look for some RTi speakers. I already have a nice Pioneer 7.1 receiver that I am not willing to get rid of.
Thanks & bump for you. -
Indeed the 4 ohm load makes them harder to power, they are killer for 2 channel, but the rti's are solid speakers as well.
Price 350.00 plus shipping for any other buyers out there. -
these would be killer surrounds as well for an LSi theater....
I really like my 7's in surround mode (with naked sides) and removing the sides really makes them fit on the wall better. Granted 9's are deeper as well, but would still sound great. (especially for this price.)Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -
Picked up some 7s now I just need to sell the 9s for 350 plus shipping as required.

Keith these things are killer for 2 channel, with or without a sub woofer. I have owned polk R15, RT 25's, RTI 12's and these are what i replaced the rti's with. Rti's are great for home theater, but the LSI's vifa tweeter is where they win out. Ive also owned, mirage, energy, kilipsh, infinity, pioneer and many others before i stuck with these. I used them for home theater for a while but then moved them to my b&k set up with the 200.2 amp its a match that is very hard to beat. What I liked best about these is their very clear and non fatiging, even at high listening levels on any type of music. IVe never heard them distort. There is some really great engineering behind that power port technology. I have its amp for sale as well if your interested.

Just logged in for the 1st time in ages. Damn these look great. I was so happy when I desided the LSi7s. They looked 100x better IMO. Nice catch Keith. Get something high-current behind these and you'll love them forever.- Computer Rig -

AS far as current goes, what do you guys think about the Harman Kardon 3490, that does 4 ohms?
-
I had one. I wasn't too thrilled with the preamp section, but the amplifier is great. It's a good unit for driving LSis.- Computer Rig -
