I am thinking of getting dared sl 2000A pre. The only place I can find is amazon as seen here.

I am wondering if there is any other authorized dealer besides amazon that also carries dared? What is the current price for new dared pre?

    H9 will probably chime in here but the guy you want to deal with is David Zhou, who sells on Ebay. His location is Napierville, Ill not sure of the username on Ebay though. I bought my Dared in October and it was about $430 with shipping, brand new. Don't forget to budget for upgraded tubes. Cheers. :cool:

    It's Joe Zhou and he sells on Audiogon as well as Ebay and is located in Naperville, IL. I don't know of another Dared dealer, I've never really checked.

    The seller on Amazon is the same as Audiogon and Ebay. I think Audiogon is cheaper.

    I emailed Dared and got a reply from Joe. He just got back from his vacation. He quoted me $460 plus shipping ($25).
    Still debating between Dared SL-2000A and Parasound P3. My source will be Oppo 95 --> Dared pre or P3 ---> Parasound HCA 2205 ---> Polk LS90's.

    Naperville is 1 town over from me.
