I'm not a big fan of either team, although I am sick of people saying LSU cant hang with a NFL team.

Buddy, your team made it past the 50 yard line one time...

    Glad Bama won.

It started getting sad that they were trying towards the end lol. Bama plays some damn Defense and just put the smack down on LSWHO!

I'm surprised they didn't put Lee in but he was lively to throw a pic 6 lol that would've been hilarious!!!!

I was hoping for a close Bama win just to bring chaos to the BCS, but it wasn't meant to be. That was one of the most dominant performances I've seen in a while.

Man, great smack down of a game. All week my friends were saying how Bama shouldn't even be in the game and LSU was going to walk all over them.

Bama's kicker seemed weak though.....looked like the geek from science lab. I haven't seen a smack down like this in a long time, in a college game yet.

I'm not a fan of either team but I love a great game. It looked to me like LSU didn't even belong on the field non the less in the running for a #1 ranking. Alabama was just too prepared & psyched for this one & it really showed. They brought it big time while LSU looked like a bunch of deer in the headlights...totally clueless. Great win for the "TIDE". Looking at ESPN this morning I can't believe that one idiot still cast his vote for LSU to be ranked #1. Sheesh what a putz. That guy should be barred from any other future voting.

It sure was nice to see LSU go down and I love how everyone said that Bama didn't belong in the game even though they had already outplayed LSU once earlier in the year, only to be foiled by their scrawny kicker. Either of those teams wouldv'e trounced OK State or whoever else showed up. And just for the record, there is a big difference between college kickers and NFL kickers. Those college guys will give you heart problems. ROLL TIDE!!

Yeah, and you're also the genius who was mad the Eagles didn't keep Kolb

The crazy thing was the LSU coaching staff decided to let Jefferson play the whole game. I didn't like his attitude of blaming his teammates right on the field after he threw the interception. He was so afraid of getting hit, most of his option run was half-**** which left his tailbacks in worse position once he threw the ball back to them. And when they got to the 4th quarter, they should have abandoned their original game plan of running the option and let Lee throw long passes. I agree, Alabama brought the baseball bat and smacked LSU big time. No matter who played in that game, the Crimson Tide would have smacked them dead the same way.

LOL! I still say I was right about that. Vick was injured most of the year as usual and Vince Young was injured most of the year as usual. If they'd kept Kolb I think they would've had a better season. Reid is a great coach and with a solid pocket passer in Kolb, I think he would've done a lot better than they did without Kolb.

Jordan jefferson looked like he wanted to cry after every bad play in the second half lol. and the whole blaming the receiver thing, what do you expect from a guy who kicked a dude in the head repeatedly while he was down, in front of a bar, in a fight he started. I don't know why they didn't play Lee but let's face it, neither QB is any good, they just happen to hit some wide open receivers a few times every now and again.

Well I did check LSU's season record, and they did score some points against other opponents. Which adds some credibility to the notion that Alabama would also have been able to shut down OKSTATE's offense. And OK State doesn't have much of a defense to speak of. So all that said - I'd still rather Oklahoma State had played either Alabama or LSU than seeing a repeat of of LSU and Alabama.

That game really did suck and you'd never have guessed that LSU had any offense ever from the way they were smothered by Alabama.

Maybe next year we'll have an inter-conference BSC championship bowl game :)

OK State should've lost to Stanford. How many gimme field goals did Stanford miss? They were outplayed and got lucky with Stanford, would've been beaten handily by LSU and embarrassed by Bama. Same with the first Tide/LSU meeting. 4 missed field goals!!! Bama outplayed LSU in that game as well and should've won by 12 points and would have if they didn't have he worst kicker in college football.

Say what you will about the BCS, but they got this one right. LSU and Balance are the 2 best teams and OK and Stanford are rightfully 3rd and 4th.

And I'm a Vols fan so I have no agenda here other than seeing a bunch of southern boys continue to dominate football.

One touch down...kicker made 5 FG's, missed one or two, got one blocked, and missed the extra point!

All a matter of opinion, but I disagree that it wasn't a good game. LSU was 13-0 and had beaten about 8 ranked opponents. They had put together one of the greatest seasons ever. The fact that Bama was able to dominate them was unbelievable and to me, entertaining.

Bama scored only one TD, Trent Richardson 34 yard run late down the sideline. Cody kicked 5 field goals, missed one, had one blocked.

I got sick of the field goals and right then Dad was like "and you still want a touchdown??" lol I was so happy seeing Trent run that one! I loved all 5 of those field goals, I can't believe Cody didn't get the offensive MVP award:( kinda sucks, although McCarron passed for 240 something yards which was better than Jay Barker (18) in 1992, and McElroy on 09 (58) and that other guy they mentioned.

I kept thinking the Honey Badger was going make his "statement" but the only thing he did was pick up that punt that bounced three times with two BAma defenders on top of him.... then it was 3, 4, 5, 6 Bama players nailed him.

Oh, and Bama only committed one penalty:) an offsides, that Saban was livid about lol
