Sweet, my set up gets an upgrade of new mains. A pair of A9's will accompany the CS2 for a short bit until the CSi6 gets here.

I've had my eye on the RTi12's for quite a long time thinking I'd just take advantage of the sweet deals that have been going around and then the opportunity for a new pair of 9's came along at the right time.

I convinced my wife this would be the last upgrade I'd have to make  Of course, when I can get my hands on a pair of B&W CM9's, then that will be the last upgrade I'll have to make

Congrats...what do you want for the CS2? Looks like about $35 to send it to WI. Don't know if it's worth it.

Yeah, I know. Every time I tell my wife "this will be the last upgrade I'll have to make", she just rolls her eyes and says, "yeah right, for now, until you see something else you've got to have". She's such an understanding wife, and best of all, there's no WAF with her, she just tells me it's my cave, do what I want......SCHWING!!!

It's a big WOW!! First impressions out of the box, beautiful piece of furniture. Love the carpet spikes.

Haven't done any movies yet, just listening to CD's with no sub and set to full band for initial break in.

Most importantly of all, my wife comes in and thinks the speakers are great, how cool is that? Her first impression was like this; "are those the only speakers on?, wow, they really fill the room, I'm impressed". I laughed and asked her if she's been reading the forum. She thinks (knows) we're all a bunch of whack jobs.

Very happy with this purchase, ready to watch my entire library again.

A smirk? I don't know what I'm impressed with most, the 9's or the 70's now in the surround position. No smirk, a grin plastered from ear to ear, that and I pi** myself each time I put in a movie. That will stop with time right?

Uhhh...NO. What usually happens is you become a hermit, hell bent on finding reasons to stay home and watch movies all day while the family is out. Your family and friends will wonder what happened to you, what you even look like, and will start looking at your wife cross eyed over that loose dirt in the garden.

Geoff, time to update your equipment in your sig

Glad your enjoying the A9's. My personal jump from Monitor 60's to LSi 15's was ridiculous, so I understand your glee  lol....

Nope my boy, the diagnosis isn't looking good, a down hill slope leading to divorce, bankruptcy, your old school buddies asking what had happened to you, if some sort of illness took you down. No sir, doesn't look good at all, but look at the upside, you'll still have that grin on your face.

Funny you should say that because just the other day I said to my wife "The guys on the forum said that I have to upgrade to a CS2 so it properly matches my other huge speakers!" Gotta looooooooove these forums!
