So I went to check out the UltraFit 3000's to see if my review had been posted and stumbled upon this page...

http://www.polkaudio.com/headphones/ultrafocus/

Looks like polk is about to launch another platform to their headphone line but this time, with noise cancellation. Just after I found my new gem, something else to try. Must try those 6000's.

Discuss?

Wish I had known this; just picked up another pair of Audio Technica NC cans for work. I'm definitely a good tester for the 8000's if that becomes an option Doro :)

And I'm curious what price point we're looking at, etc. Very interested prospective buyer here!

Have to keep these in mind, I have been looking to try a set of active noise cancelling headphones / IEM's

sign me up for a test drive.
I would like to compare vs other quality units.
I hope the pads aren't a sweat box.

I'd love to take a test drive too. Got a pair of AKG 271 MKiis for xmas thanks to the wife. I hope these are more in the audiophile arena and not marketed and built like BEATS.

I'm now more interested than ever. I've been getting dirty looks from my colleagues all day, and as it turns out, these B model AT's are doing a MUCH worse job of holding in my sound than the A models. "So I'm absolutely interested if the Polks do a better job of keeping your music to yourself..."

Wow, that looks sweet. I'm in the same boat wondering how much the 8000s will cost.

LOL look what you started doro!

I think I'll skip out of this demo as I was a part of the last. I eventually wanted a pair of nice large cans for private listening at home. I'll definitely be looking into the 8000's.
