FS: Krell KAV 250a amp

Bought this on here from a Polkie a few years ago. Has always worked fine except the power button sometimes takes a couple of tries to turn on or off, never bothered me. I have not used it in about 9 months or more. Only selling to fund another purchase. Have box and a downloaded (printed out) manual. I do not have a power cord for it. Would much prefer local pickup or delivery in central Texas. Price is $850.

    The Krell arrived yesterday safe and sound. Thanks for the fast ship, special care in packing, double boxing, great comm, and bonus xlr's.

    I hooked it up and ran through a few familiars, then listened for an hour or so to Vitamin String Quartet and Norah Jones while watching The Fed in the Aussie Open. Gobs of easy going detail. Not nearly as aggressive on the low end as others I've tried here, but uncanny detail. All extraneous details are stripped away and you're left with the stage or studio performance.

    It may turn out that my funk cravings are not satisfied with the less aggressive bass, I don't know. I will probably try some darker tubes instead of the evenly balanced Telefunkens. But for now, the detail is keeping me glued to the comfy chair.

    Can't thank you enough for the hassle-free opportunity to try some fine gear.
