Phase Linear Amps for SDAs?

All,
I'm kinda into vintage gear, and had something interesting come my way tonight. I've got an opportunity to pick up a pair of Phase Linear 400 amplifiers at a good price locally (they come with a tuner and preamp as well). I've been powering my SDA SRS2's with a vintage 110wpc receiver and would like to try them with more power. I am aware of the common ground requirement, but am not sure how I would hook this up. The SRS's are set up to be bi-amped, so I'm guessing I could remove the connectors between the the posts where the speakers and use both amps on both speakers. Before I commit the (modest) money for the Phase Linear gear, I thought I'd check in here and see if I'm asking for trouble.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks a bunch!

The only thing I know about Phase Linear is that they're also known as Flame Linear. Hide yo kids hide yo wife! -
An interesting and quick read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phase_Linear
If all is true, Phase Linear was some of the first work of Bob Carver.AVR - Yamaha Aventage RX-A800
Amps - B&K Components ST2140 (for mains) and Parasound HCA-1000A (bi-amping center)
Mains - RT1000i Towers
Center - CS400i
Sub - BIC Acoustech PL200
My neighbors listen to very good music, whether they like it or not
