Form to report mean users causing you problems on the 'net

Really, really? Pull your finger out of your butt and you will not need to use that form. If people are offended that easy by what people say/do they need to stay off of forums and social networking sites.

Well, that and he's about 10 years late to the party. I think I found that form mildly funny back then, but that's just me.

First glance I took it seriously, after posting then taking a better look it was like ha ha. Still by stand what I said though. I just find it funny that people get so worked up by what others say. If ya can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. This is not directed at anyone, just sayin'.

I think it hilarious and just the thing to remind folks that you cant get physically hurt here so matter how bad the butthurt may be it shouldn't be taken seriously. There is such a thing as overkill mass insulting posts but the only reason I may get annoyed is because it gets harder to find the information being shared on a particular thread. Otherwise the occasional rant is not only entertaining, it's healthy in bringing up various points of views. Look at all the fantasy football leagues made up of best friends. There is quite a bit of flaming but it's all in good fun.
You cant post info or questions and expect just to hear agreements or there would be no point in posting at all.

Indeed.

Yeah, I know this is based on the original "internet complaint form", which was again based on a "bbs complaint form" (bulletin board system, for you youngsters that don't remember what came before the internet) that's even older. But it brought a chuckle with the updates, and I thought a couple of others might agree. I mean, especially given the amount of butthurt posts in cable threads, etc. that goes on around here.

Does this form allow people who take umbrage at imaginary insults to their gear use it to report the imaginary insults? If so it should be a sticky in every forum.

Okay, now you are bringing back memories for me. I remember connecting to BBS's via a Compaq Portable 386 Computer with 2400 baud modem. Weeeeee doggie that was some exciting stuff back in the day!

I still keep my 2400 baud as a backup in case $hi? Hits the fan on dsl or cable one day. The bbs was the first forum system of my generation. This forum is the first I've participated in.

Just think how fast we thought we were on the Internet back then when we upgraded our modems to a higher baud rate.

1200 baud on a Tandy 1000A with TGA (Tandy's 16 color video card :eek:. ). 8086 with 512k of ram. Dual floppies !
Wasn't this bad, but seemed like it.

To those who may have been affected, this may be a good time for me to apologize for "Wardialing" from the hours of 11 p.m. to about 6 a.m. Night after night after ..... :loneranger:
