Experience with Adcom GFA-535 - Can it handle a 4 ohm load?

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for an amp to power my CS400i center. I've been looking specifically at the Marantz MA-500, Parasound 750A, and the Adcom GFA-535. So far, the 535 seems to be the most economical while still being an amp raved about among the budget market. I'm having trouble finding out for sure if it can handle a 4 ohm load though. I've read posts from some google searches stating that Adcom amps are comfortable with loads all the way down to 2 ohms, yet I can only find specs stated for 8 ohms for the GFA-535. I already know it's not bridgeable, so thats why I'm questioning the 4 ohm capability. Can this amp handle 4 ohms safely? I would plan on bi-amping/wiring the 2 channels to my CS400i since the amp isnt bridgeable.
Thanks for any insight

It will not be a problem at all. In fact when I sold Adcom back in the day at an audio store, we did a comparo between and Adcom 535 and Yamaha M80 and the Adcom played cleaner and louder than the M80 on a difficult load Mirage M1 speakers. The Yammy shut down before the Adcom distorted. The Yammy was rated at 200 wpc and the lowly Adcom only 60wpc.
So you will have no issues assuming the 535 is within it's factory specs.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Thanks H9!
I almost bought a Yamaha MX-800 a few weeks ago, but it seemed a little aged. These Adcoms just seem to be unbeatable for the price.AVR - Yamaha Aventage RX-A800
