I need to get around to re-calibrating my HT sometime...

I recently realized that I never re-calibrated my HT after the insertion of my fourth different AVR into the system. I had purchased it "open box" and then found out when I got home that the mic was missing... I had planned on picking one up, but then got sidetracked and never did it. Thing is, I only noticed recently when I was playing around with the settings - everything was still set to defaults! I think I should get moving on this soon...
Just goes to show how hard it is to hear subtleties in HT (especially when all we've watched lately has been football!). I guess that even at the defaults, my system is "good enough" for me and my family, but I'm sure it will get better for HT once I get it calibrated again.
Calibration isn't a factor in music listening, since I usually run 2-channel Direct mode.

Well, lacking the mic, I think I'm going to give it a go with the old method of a tape measure and SPL meter.
