    Congrats, it will be a huge improvement over the headphone jack.:biggrin:

    Make sure you use a media player that is compatible with ASIO or WASAPI to really get the most out of it.

    i have this issue also with laptop hum. i wonder if it is a grounding issue as sometimes i can touch the laptop and it goes away.
    could just be a crappy headphone jack tho. use headphone jack to y adapter to int. amp.
    i am looking into trying the W1 (?) from audioengine. a wireless usb transmitter/receiver to get rid of the longf audio cable.
    has anyone used this solution? it costs $99 at audioengine.com.
