Heard them live at Central Park's "Sheaffer Music Fest" way back when. Hot band. The first two albums say it all.

Vinyl here as well... and CD's...

Grabbed a remastered Birds of Fire release off BMG before it collapsed into Yourmusic that was much better than the original. Not sure if Inner Mounting Flame was ever re-released...

Saw them in the Akron Rubber Bowl summer of '71-ish sandwiched between Eagles and Yes. I did not "understand" them at the time; understanding came much later.

Agree on greatness of the original line-up's Inner... and Birds..., but I've never heard their third, The Lost Trident Sessions.
    More later,
    Tour...

In all my Amazon expeditions I'd never stumbled across the Original Album Classics series... thanks... may have just cost me some $$$...

Think I'll nab the OP's Maha set for the added Live material as well as to fill my Lost... Sessions hole, but a brief OAC peek turned up a Spirit box that I may need... I have a feeling there are others.

I found a cd a long time ago by the violinist called "It's Alive". It is a live performance and the guy does one mother of a "Theme from Perry Mason".
