    I did some digging on Yahoo and found out that these drivers probably really are worth what the dealer is trying to sell them for. They look like they're in extraordinarily good condition considering they've been around for 70 years and most speaker like these were put to commercial rather than residential use. I found this site where an enthusiast has posted pictures of many old speaker drivers.

    Decrepit Junk?

    Scroll to the bottom and you'll see a rather sad looking speaker driver, but it's the same kind as the drivers in New Zealand. There's some very interesting speaker driver history on the site. :cool:
