how to delete a post or thread that you started?

    Make it a ranting, religious, gun-toting, insulting thread, and the mods will do it for you.

    Otherwise, you have a timer window where you can delete the post contents, but you cannot delete either the thread or the title. Unless that has been changed.

    ha ha, hilarious! Just a few posts in and already getting wet post feet? I've never regretted a thread, but I have wanted to remove some of my posts on a thread that has gone so far south that nothing could save it. I was embarrassed to have my name on certain threads and wanted to be removed from having anything to do with them. I sometimes have tried to do some cooling of the heels before the threads and posts go out of control. At that point is when I would love to have simply deleted my posts no matter how inflammable.
