I bought these from original owner about a month ago, he had the surrounds refoamed professionally about 2 years ago, and sat them in his basement home theater, where they were almost never used.
Appearance is about as close to a 10 out of 10 as speakers this age could be, i honestly dont know how anybody can own anything this long and keep them this nice.
Would love a local sale, or trade towards an adcom or equivalent pre w. phono, tone bypass and 3 channel would be perfect.
If shipping is necessary, will be packed to my best ability and insured, but wont be cheap, as they are pretty big and about 60 lbs. apiece.
somebody buy these so i can buy the dcms in the wanted section here.

Traditional, price drop bump to 150 and will throw in a close to matching finish boston VR-MC center.
Just like with the 1000s, you would be hard pressed to find even a slight smudge or scar.
And, im including a shot of the back of one of the 1000s, to show the posts are under the speak, thereby making placement farther out in the room less objectionable.
Somebody buy these or the infinitys i have for sale here, so i can buy more gear.
Will negotiate on price of infinitys as well, and im open to trade offers, mainly towards adcom pre, or a quality tt, im willing to pay extra along with speaks for right gear.humpty dumpty was pushed -

After going to Statesville NC to pick up a pair of DCM TimeWindow 3's for Scott on Thursday, I drove down to his place yesterday. Had an enjoyable afternoon and early evening meeting him and Debbie. We listened some tunes and did quite a bit of speaker swapping. It was great to make/meet new friends and look forward to going back down in the fall with the family for another visit. They live in a beautiful part of the country where the leaves should be gorgeous. I picked up the Boston 1000's and am really digging their sound. Nice bass with a beautiful cabinet to go with the good sound. Scott threw in some great gifts for me for helping him w/ the DCM's and I really appreciate the gesture. As much as I'm enjoying these, they will be a gift to my dad for his birthday in couple weeks. Some things that parents do have lasting unintended results far down the road. My dad helped cultivate a love and enjoyment for just rocking out and having a good time thru his enjoyment of decent audio gear and tunes. I struggled w/ alcohol for many years and though I give most of the credit to God for helping me be sober for the last 2 1/2 years, my newfound passion for this hobby has helped me keep my sobriety. Dad sparked this interest over 30 years ago and as I turn 40 a few days after his bday this is a small token of my appreciation to him for all he has done.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.
